Welcome Neighbors,

RESTORE Whitehall is not just another nonprofit agency; we are a multi-party collaborative of community partners and stakeholders committed to making positive changes in the city of Whitehall.  Our mandate is to help TANF eligible families residing in Whitehall transition from lack and poverty to sufficiency and prosperity by equipping them with human, practical and tactical resources.  Some of our collaborators and partners include the City of Whitehall, the Franklin County Board of Commissioners, Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services, the Whitehall Chamber of Commerce, Whitehall City Schools, local businesses, and local churches in the Whitehall area.

RESTORE Whitehall operates under Lazarus Arise CCDC, a 501©3 community development corporation established to help the disenfranchised in the State of Ohio. We are excited that the City of Whitehall has entrusted us with this mission, and we thank Mayor Kim Maggard, her staff and the City Council for providing space and resources for us to operate.

Most of all we are grateful for our neighbors – the families who allow us to assist them on their journey to sufficiency, prosperity and wholeness.  This is the American dream.  However, for too many years, too many of our neighbors have fallen behind in their pursuit of the dream.  No man, woman, child or family is an island.  That is why our motto is: “It takes a COMMUNITY to RAISE a FAMILY!”  No family achieves the American dream without the support of their neighbors.

Thank you, Whitehall, for welcoming RESTORE into the neighborhood.  And likewise, we welcome our neighbors into our space as we collectively RESTORE Whitehall to its place of prominence in Franklin County and the State of Ohio.
